CRYSTALAIRE, Los Angeles County — Crystalaire’s rural landscape is reflected in Los Angeles County’s 2015 Antelope Valley Area Plan, which distinguished existing homes near the country club from surrounding undeveloped land.
The plan describes a rural residential area around the established subdivision and additional lands with environmental constraints. It also identified very low-density rural preserve areas, using categories such as Rural Land 10 and Rural Land 20, with policy densities of one dwelling per 10 or 20 gross acres respectively.
Do not assume every parcel can be divided
Land-use designations guide planning; they do not replace zoning, subdivision rules, septic requirements or hazard reviews. The 2015 document is historical planning context and may have been amended. Owners should check current maps and parcel-specific codes before assuming a rural lot is eligible for additional homes.
